For loading the HDB you without scruple may use the data published by the powder makers and specialized manuals. But in any case be sure of the correct weight and caliber of the respective bullet. Only use data intended for soft point type hunting projectiles.

During extensive tests I in most cases found the peake pressure being somewhat lower but in no case higher than the quoted value. On the other hand, nearly all bullets proved to start with a slightly higher muzzle velocity.
