Its is essential to start the loading process with the propellant charge lower than the quoted maximum. When using an offensive burning powder you should start with the charge reduced by about 10 % and for a progressive burning powder with a reduction of about 5 %. Watch for any sign of overpressure. Never ever exceed the maximum loads.

Always be sure to seat the HDB to exactly the depth as shown in the drawing. Also properly taper-crimp the case mouth into the triangular groove so that its front edge formfits the first driving-band. The finished cartridge finally should look as depicted. Any other seating depth would prove to be inadvantageous.
