Terminal Ballistics
(Page 5/7)

Following the process of calibration, every HDB has undergone a special heat treatment to make its front portion material more elastical and ductile. The only three internal brake-up notches (instead of normally four) guarantee the largest possible front surface of the mushroomed bullet. All in all this additionally proves to be instrumental in the positive controlled terminal behaviour.

When developing the HDB the basic idea was to optimize a monobloc deformation rifle bullet with respect to the state of the art, and I am sure I did.
