HDB Big Game Series

Hunting heavy game such as oryx, kudu, or buffalo for example absolutely requires a bullet capable of suiting to very different target situations. The HDB meets all requirements. On the one hand some nominal sites of fracture guarantee positive controlled deformation even at low impact velocities and/or on a thin-skinned game animal. On the other hand the mass-stable construction will result in an exorbitant deep penetration. Especially under this point of view one can realize the enormous advantages of the HDB Big Game over any conventional so-called soft point bullet. At comparatively soft targets, such as a lion for example, it quickly will react like a very soft-built lead cored projectile, while it at the same time proves to be capable of penetrating the huge body of a buffalo for instance even when hitting strong bones. All things considered, the HDB Big Game style bullet combines the same optimal interior ballistics and reliable wound ballistics effect as the standard model does.
